Justin Timberlake apologises for spoof wedding video saying: “I am deeply sorry

Justin Timberlake has written an open letter saying sorry for a spoof video that shows homeless people in Los Angeles apologising for not being able to make it to his wedding.

The friend who made the film threatened legal actionafter the eight-minute video, which also featured interviews with street musicians and transsexuals, leaked online this week.

Timberlake, who married Jessica Biel in a lavish $6 million ceremony in Italy last week, has now apologised, saying the video is “distasteful” but was made as a joke and his friends are “good people”.

“This clearly was a lapse in judgement which I’m sure no one who is reading this is exempt from,” Timberlake stated.

The pop singer said he had no knowledge of the video and played no part in its making.

He also denied that it was played at his wedding as was previously reported.
